Centre-Ville Guest House is within walking distance to the hub of village life, the Huguenot Monument and the famous Franschhoek Restaurants. Guests at Centre-Ville can sit on the wide ‘stoop’ watching village life go by while enjoying a refreshing drink. Or relax next to the sparking pool on hot summer days.

We have 9 tastefully decorated rooms.  All the rooms are en-suite with air-conditioning, hair-dryers, DStv, shaving point, tea- and coffee-making facilities. Free Internet access.

Guests can relax at our pool or alternatively they could sit on the deck or stoop with glorious views of the village and surrounding mountains.

The communal sitting area with fireplace is a favourite gathering place to chat, read or just listen to music. We also have a piano available for the musically talented.

Things to do around Franschhoek

A short wander down the main road in Franschhoek uncovers world-class shops and boutiques for an intimate and relaxed shopping experience. There is truly something for everyone.

For the more energetic there are numerous walking trails in the surrounding mountains – particularly in the Mont Rochelle Nature Reserve. You can also hire a bicycle and explore on your own, or go wine tasting on horseback.
