Le Manoir de Brendel Wine Estate & Wedding Venue is set on 30 hectares of vineyards overlooking the mountains offering a peaceful paradise, where meditative moments are waiting to be had.

Le Manoir de Brendel Accommodation

We offer ten luxuriously spacious suites and two self catering cottages. All suites are serviced daily and are equipped with air-conditioners, a direct-dial telephone, selective DSTV channels, DVD player, a minibar, coffee and tea-making facilities, a safe for valuables, a hairdryer, gowns, slippers and luxury bathroom amenities. 

Breakfast is served in our beautiful breakfast room overlooking the vineyards and Klein Drakenstein Mountains. Breakfast may also be enjoyed on our patio, weather permitting.

We serve Le Manoir de Brendel Estate wine as well as cocktails in our Lounge Leather Bar. There is an honesty bar in each room, which is stocked with a variety of soft drinks, beer and mineral water as well as De Brendel Wines.

Things to do at Le Manoir de Brendel

Bring your racket along and enjoy a game of tennis on our newly upgrade French Clay court overlooking the vineyards. Both young and old enjoy playing a game of chess on our Giant Garden Chessboard. 

Book a wine-tasting session in the afternoon to enjoy our best wines and learn about the basics of professional wine-tasting knowledge. 

For more action, there’s a 1.2 km walking trail through the vineyards to the Franschhoek River.

On summer days guests can enjoy lazing around our swimming pool and in the evenings lounging around the fireplace in the guest lounge is just the place to be.

Memorable and affordable weddings have been hosted at this magnificent wedding venue over the years. Tranquil surroundings, warm hospitality, and freshly prepared meals and attention to detail, makes this the perfect choice as a venue for your wedding.

Ceremonies are conducted in our romantic Chapel or perhaps you want to opt for a garden affair under our Garden Gazebo. For your Reception the Cellar Barn can seat up to 60 guests or choose the garden/marquees option for up to 70 guests.
